HubSpot Connector

Summary

The Jitterbit Harmony HubSpot Connector provides an interface for entering user-provided input such as credentials to create an authenticated HubSpot connection. That connection provides the foundation to configure associated HubSpot activities that interact with the connection.

NOTE: The HubSpot Connector was redesigned in the 10.24 release. The Create Contacts, Update Contacts, and Delete Contacts activities have been renamed to Create, Update, and Delete respectively. The Search activity replaces the Get Contacts activity available prior to version 10.24. If a project using the HubSpot connector was created prior to 10.24, existing connections and activities are no longer valid. Reconfigure the connection and the activities to use the new activities.

Supported API Versions and Prerequisites

The HubSpot connector uses the HubSpot API. Refer to the API documentation for information on the schema fields.

The HubSpot connector requires the use of an agent version 10.1 or later. These agent versions automatically download the latest version of the connector when required.

Connector Overview

This connector is used to first configure a HubSpot connection, establishing access to HubSpot, and then used to configure one or more HubSpot activities associated with that connection as a source or target within an operation:

  • Search: Finds an object at a HubSpot endpoint and is intended to be used as a source in an operation.

  • Create: Creates an object in a HubSpot endpoint and is intended to be used as a target in an operation.

  • Update: Updates an object in a HubSpot endpoint and is intended to be used as a target in an operation.

  • Delete: Deletes an object from a HubSpot endpoint and is intended to be used as a target in an operation.

Together, a specific HubSpot connection and its activities are referred to as a HubSpot endpoint.

Accessing the Connector

The HubSpot connector is accessed from the Connectivity tab of the design component palette by using the Show dropdown to filter on Connectors.

Once a connection is configured, activities associated with the endpoint are available by using the Show dropdown to filter on Endpoints and then clicking the HubSpot connection block:
